OLLIA'S Q&A
Whatâs the best local dish youâve tasted?
This is a challenging question to answer as a foodie because I have tasted some of the most amazing food in the world. One foodie experience that comes to mind is the Time Out Market in Lisbon, Portugal. Timeout Market is a cafeteria that’s basically a foodieâs paradise, with top local chefs from 5 Star restaurants and every type of cuisine you can think of all in one place. You can grab delicious food and drinks. Thereâs usually live music or cool events happening, so itâs a fun vibe all around. Itâs the perfect spot to dive into a cityâs food scene and discover something new. I particularly enjoyed the DESSERTS!!
Whatâs your most vivid travel moment?
I remember being in awe of seeing the leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa, Italy and how small the square was that it was in. I thought it might be a heavily dense area being that it’s an iconic monument but it’s just a small park and maybe a few shops. This was in the early 2000’s so I’m sure it’s changed over time but the nostalgia still remains.
Where would you love to travel next?
I have dreams of going to Australia and New Zealand. I’d love to experience the Sydney Opera House and learn more about the Aboriginal history and cultural practices. Might be a bit cheesy but Crocodile Dundee put Australia on the map for me, plus I’m a sucker for an Aussie accent! Â
